Summer, best season of all
Signify life, energy, vigor
The peak of human achievement,
Infusing warmth and joy
In all creatures great and small
And life at its best
Is found manifest in summer.
Autumn, nostalgia in the air
The season's best everywhere,
In riot of colours the world blaze,
Autumn's glory spread in full array
Intoxicating the senses like opium
A time when in dreamy contentment
We await the blessed silent coldness.
Winter, best season of all
When the snowy drifts delights,
And cozy firelight that dances
Warms the heart ang hearth.
Love shinning bright
Lit up the wintry gloom,
Keeping hearts aglow.
Spring, symbol of freshness and hope
Is youth's golden bloom,
Representing all that is best,
When the willing spirit thrives
In a body that is strong,
And the senses are fully awake
from winter's hibernation.
